Three exams. One proven method.

Built around how candidates actually pass: a measured baseline, hands-on teaching that hammers the underlying principles and the frameworks that hold the material together, then a second timed test that proves you've improved.

Paralegal Exam

One-day intensive · 100% multiple choice · Matches the LSO format

  1. Baseline. You write a 30-question sample exam with no time limit. We time you in the background — so you walk away with your real starting score and your real time-per-question, not a guess.
  2. Teach. We hammer home the principles, build a system for test-time management, and surface the unifying frameworks behind the material. Example: every Ontario court and tribunal has the same skeleton — a moving party, a defending party, a decision-maker. The forms that start a process all share the same shape; only the names, deadlines, and titles change. Once you see the pattern you stop memorizing thirty things and start recognizing one.
  3. Re-test. Same format, fully timed. You see your score climb and your per-question time drop in real numbers. That's not motivation — that's evidence.

You leave with hard analytics, calibrated goals, evidence-backed confidence, and a study-organization system that forces you to interact with the material instead of just reading it.

About

Built by someone who's been there — and taught it

I'm Frank Alfano. I hold an LL.B. from the University of London and an LL.M. from Osgoode Hall. I wrote the Law Society of Ontario Paralegal (P1) licensing exam and spent thirty-three years as a licensed Ontario paralegal — October 1990 to March 2024. I've taught standardized tests for years. I know what actually moves a candidate from cramming to confident on test day.

I built LSO Exam Prep because technology has fundamentally changed how people learn, and the LSO prep market hasn't caught up. There's no good reason today's candidates should still be working from PDFs, dated lecture notes, and dense outlines when AI-generated video, adaptive quizzes, and real analytics can do the job better.
